Heather  Wilf, 29, died Thursday.June 3rd Heather was a 1998 graduate of Midland High School and went on to receive her Bachelors Degree in Ag. Business from ASU in 2004. She was a member of the Searcy Church of the Nazarene and had been involved in rodeo, chuckwagon racing and teamroping since she was a child and was employed by the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture as an Entomology Associate. She and fiancé, Rob, owned and operated the Bar V Rodeo Company, raising bucking bulls and horses.
Survived by her parents, Kim Wilf, Quitman and Jason Wilf, Pleasant Plains; brother, Blake Wilf, Pleasant Plains; half sister, Lacey Wilf, Pleasant Plains; fiancé, Rob Gann, Lonoke; grandparents, Dora Dean Wilf, Searcy and Patricia Comia, Pleasant Plains; great-grandfather, Buster Johnson, Pleasant Plains; uncles, Farrell Comia and Tim Wilf both of Pleasant Plains and Jake Wilf, Searcy. She is also survived by numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Preceded in death by her grandfathers, Charles Comia and Jeff Albert Wilf; great-grandmother, Eunice Johnson; great-grandparents, J.B. and Veta Gordon and Jake and Faye Wilf; great-great-grandmother, Minnie Johnson.
Services were held Sunday, June 6, at the White County Fair Grounds Rodeo Arena. She was carried to Pleasant Plains Cemetery  by a horse drawn hearse with pallbearers following in a horse drawn wagon.
